1978 to 2006 Minor League Statistics

After 7 long months of [agonizing] work, The Baseball Cube is excited and proud to present Minor League Statistics for all affiliated minor leagues between 1978 and 2006.

Unlike previous versions of TBC's minor league stats, Fielding Statistics are now included for all years of stats. Here is a list of features and limitations for the new stats:

Features:

• Complete Batting, Fielding and Pitching Statistics for all players appearing in at least 1 game for a given team.
• Player profiles for all new players not previously listed in the TBC database, including updated "High Level" values.
• Team-view for all minor league teams between 1978 and 2006 including all statistics.
• Split statistics for players on multiple teams between 1993 and 2006.
• Combined statistics for players on multiple teams in same league with link to player's other team nearby.
• Year by year listing for each minor league team including team record, manager, attendance and playoff success.
• Rosters for each team.
• Organizational Rosters for all major league teams between 1978 and 2006.
• Updated totals.

Limitations:

• Without biographical information for many players, correctly bridging players with generic names was sometimes challenging and therefore may not be at 100%. If you see any errors, please don't hesitate to let us know.
• Earlier seasons may be missing some statistical categories.
• Fielding data does not contain Games Started or Innings played and therefore, no range factor.
• There are no fielding totals [yet].
• Innings Pitched have no decimals in earlier years and may cause slight inaccuracies in ERA.
• Biography data for all new players is empty as are many existing players. Please send updates for these players if you have info [or if it is you!].
• The search function on the site is still limited and slow and will be updated shortly.

The Minor League Statisics project had been taking much of my time and I am now ready to work on some new projects.
